6technologies we use

Ensuring that we use the latest technologies means that we can confidently offer you solutions that are up-to-date, scalable and industry standard, ultimately improving the quality of the product that you receive.

For our design and print we use the Adobe Creative Suite, this is pretty much the industry-standard with products including Illustrator, In-design and Photoshop.  As part of the suite we also use Flash mainly for web advertisements or gimmicky image presentations (see the flash on content managed websites) but we can also create custom functionality including linking to XML databases (which can be integrated with most modern systems).

We ensure that our websites and web-based software adheres to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines (www.w3.org) this ensures that the content follows a format that is widely acceptable and compatible with devices such as screen-readers.  This means that your content adheres to Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) guidelines. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Logo
For the database back-end of our systems we generally use Microsoft SQL Server 2008, it is tried-and-tested database technology that is extremely robust and scalable. We can also integrate with, or connect to your current systems with our expertise on connectivity.
Microsoft .net Technology
Microsoft ASP.net is the server-side programming technology that we use (C# and ASP.NET 3.5 using Visual Studio 2008 to be specific). This is Microsoft’s flagship programming technology.

Microsoft Windows Server System Hosting with .net 3.5
We use Windows 2003 Servers as the platform to host our websites and web services. Scalable, secure, with co-location backups. We are happy to specify and configure Windows Servers, or work with your team. We can use .net to integrate with Active Directory.
Asychronous JavaScript and XML
We use the latest website usability technologies and techniques allowing for faster responding systems and a more responsive user experience. Some of those technologies include AJAX, XML and custom dynamic JavaScript.
